Why Should I Join the East African Business Association?
- Are there regulations in your business that you don’t understand?
- Do you feel that your elected leaders are not listening to you?
- What happens if the community doesn’t support each other?
- Are you tired of not getting opportunities to expand your business?
- Does it bother you that there is no unified voice for the East African business community?
We have the solutions to these problems. The East African Business Association (EABA) is dedicated to reducing stress, helping you get through regulations, meeting with politicians, expanding networking with other business professionals, and representing the community at the city, state, and federal government levels.
HOW DOES THE EAST AFRICAN BUSINESS ASSOCIATION DELIVER ON THESE PROMISES?
We will present to the news media the good things that are happening through a constant presence on TV, radio, and social media. Somali TV, Sahan Journal, and Somali Snaps are all committed to being our partners.
Every month the East African Business Association will have special training sessions on how to navigate healthcare (MN Statute 245), transportation, and retail regulations. We will bring in experts to provide hands-on training to help you stay compliant…and to learn new skills. See our training schedule here.
The East African Business Association will hold quarterly meetings with our elected leaders. Our leadership team has extensive relationships with the mayor’s office, the Governor’s office, and federal officeholders. Additionally, the Somali Ambassador to the US will hold an annual event to update the membership on the economic and political situation in East Africa. See Ambassador Ali Sharif Ahmed’s letter of support.
The East African Business Association website will provide complete searchable profiles of all members. So, if you are looking for a product or service you can find members who can help.
The East African Business Association has a program to help members compete for government contracts and awards. Our team of consultants can help write grants and complete RFPs.
Finally, after 40 years of immigration to Minnesota, we will have a united voice to promote and protect our vibrant business community.
